Spring Live Auction - Session 2

The second session of the Spring Live Auction presents artwork from three select important collections. Artwork benefitting the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG)-Qaumajuq begin the session with fourteen works of art (Lots 101-114) being sold to benefit the gallery in establishing an endowment fund to support more diverse representation in the permanent collection, beginning with contemporary Canadian art. The session next features two artworks from the Collection of Art Windsor-Essex (115 & 116) to support AWE's new endowment fund, established to support the care and diversification of the collection at the AWE. Closing the session and season is Works from a Private Collection of Canadian Art (117-137), a selection of artwork which showcase celebrated Canadian artists, including masterwork by Lawren Harris, Clarence Gagnon, Cornelius Krieghoff and many others.
