Peter Ohler

Peter Ohler has over thirty years of experience in the Canadian historical art market as a principal with Masters Gallery in Calgary, Alberta. He has a reputation within the dealer and collector community for adhering to the highest ethical standards in working with his clients, and he is trusted for his expertise and integrity. Peter has acquired wide-ranging experience dealing with high-value works of art of historical significance and providing a full range of fine art services. In 2018, as a member of the board of directors of ADAC (Art Dealers Association of Canada), Peter became a private dealer, advising clients who wished to buy or sell art or take advantage of his long experience providing expert evaluation and advisory services. He is a member of the board of directors of ADAC (Art Dealers Association of Canada).

In 2022, Ohler’s Fine Art was acquired by Cowley Abbott with Peter joining the firm as the company’s Western Canada Representative, continuing his work in private sales while pursuing artwork for inclusion in Cowley Abbott’s live and online auctions. Peter continues to advise clients who wish to buy or sell art, providing expert evaluation and advisory services through this new venture with Cowley Abbott.
