Roy Arden is a Vancouver-born contemporary multi-media artist known for his work in collage, photography, video, and sculpture. Arden obtained his Master's from the University of British Columbia in 1990 and began working immediately after. His first solo exhibitions were held in Vancouver in 1983 at Coburg Gallery and Or Gallery. Arden’s work has been featured in numerous public collections across North America and Europe, including in the Art Gallery of Ontario, Winnipeg Art Gallery, National Gallery of Canada, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art in New York, and Musée national d’art moderne in Paris. Arden currently lives and works in Vancouver, Canada.
