Most likely painted around 1967, this work is one of a small number of flower pot paintings by the artist. Brimming over with vitality, tulips, cosmos and daisies fill the composition. Maud Lewis has taken evident delight in rendering the colourful flowers, along with the ornamentation on the pot and tablecloth.
