Evan Penny's critical “Mask” series dates to the late 1980s. The sculptures explore fragmentation of the human face, pushing the boundaries between illusion and reality. Large-scale versions of the “Mask” sculptures can be found on the University of Toronto's St. George Campus as well as in the Donald Forster Sculpture Park at the University of Guelph.
