Peter MacCallum is a Canadian documentary photographer known for his exploration of urban and industrial landscapes and architecture. He began formally documenting these environments in 1968. With the exception of a year spent working at a commercial gallery, MacCallum is largely self-taught. Many of his photographs depict recognizable neighbourhoods in Toronto. MacCallum’s work can be found in the City of Toronto Archives, the Archives of Ontario, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Art Gallery of Ontario, amongst other public and private collections.
