B. Shilling Biography
(1977)
orn in Orillia, Ontario in 1977, Shilling now lives in Toronto. In 1997 Shilling studied graphic design at George Brown College and then attended OCAD from 1998 to 2001, including the off-campus program in Florence, Italy. He has been exhibiting in group and solo shows since 1999. In 2000 he was presented with The Norman & Margaret Jewison Charitable Foundation award, as well as The Rose of Cedardale Scholarship. In 2007 his work was shown at the Orillia Museum of Art and History as well as at the Gary Farmer Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He has been represented by Roberts Gallery since 2002 and had solo exhibitions there in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011.
