The Collection of Ranu and Niladri Chaki
The collection of Ranu and Niladri Chaki reflects their lifelong appreciation for Bengali heritage, drawing inspiration from the ideology of the polymath Rabindranath Tagore. Remarkable works by artists Jamini Roy and Jogen Chowdhury feature prominently in their collection. Niladri pursued a career in civil engineering and served as the Secretary of Bengal Studies at the University of Toronto for twelve years. Together, they have organized numerous exhibitions celebrating Bengali culture and traditional Indian art.
