Family of the Artist
Aileen Alma Cherry (1895–1958) was from Belleville, Ontario. Known for her impressionist-style landscapes, she trained at the Ontario College of Art under Arthur Lismer and exhibited with major Canadian art institutions throughout her career. Her work is preserved in Canadian art archives, including:
