F. S. Challener painted the mural titled "Indians Trading at Fort Rouillé" in 1902 for the main lobby of the King Edward Hotel in Toronto. It depicted part of Toronto’s early history. The French Fort Rouillé was established for trade with the First Nations before the British established the town of York – which later became Toronto. The mural is boarded up today.
