Alfred de Breanski Sr
(1852 - 1928)
Renowned Victorian landscape artist from Greenwich, England, De Breanski Sr. was well-known for his paintings of the mountain landscapes of Scotland and Wales which concentrated on the effects of sunlight on the Highland scenery at different times of the day. Beginning in 1869 he exhibited extensively with the Royal Academy and the New Watercolour Society.
