Eric Barnes, Red Lake
By descent to the present Private Collection, Ontario
Eric Barnes owned a business in Red Lake called Barnes' Furniture and in 1960 Eric acquired artworks directly from Norval Morrisseau in exchange for borrowed money. An IOU from Morrisseau to Eric is still in the collection of the family for this exchange. Eric then gifted this artwork to his son.
This painting has been assessed and authenticated by Morrisseau Art Consulting and approved by the Estate of Norval Morrisseau.
