John Ensor
(1905 - 1995) RCA
was a British-Canadian painter. He was born in Llanishen, Wales on January 2nd, 1905. He emigrated to Canada in 1947. He served in the Royal Air army and was an industrial designer and a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Art. In 1967, his painting, Summer Stores, was selected as a 50 Cent Centennial Canada Post Stamp.
