A label on the reverse reads:
“This is an authentic painting by Edmund Morris, A.R.C.A., and is one of a collection bequeathed by him to the Ontario College of Art as a basis for a scholarship”
The label is signed by the president of the Ontario College of Art on February 15th, 1932.
